Meet the Founders

Charles, CEO

Charles Jones is the CEO and Co-Founder of C&B HR Consulting LLC. The family-owned company was established in 2013 to provide human resources strategies and solutions to small businesses, nonprofits and veteran-owned businesses. Some current clients include the Girls Inc. of Greater Houston TX, YWCA of Lake County IL, Pride & Hope Family Services in Varnado LA, and Millennium Corporation in Washington DC. 

In 2017, he received the Lake County, IL Most Influential African American in Business Award. Prior to establishing his company, Mr. Jones served as a human resources executive with Mondelez International (formerly Kraft Foods), headquartered in Deerfield, IL. In this role, Mr. Jones was responsible for developing and leading the implementation of human resources strategies and activities in support of North America Sales with net revenues exceeding $6 Billion. Prior to his final year of service, he was the highest ranking African American in Mondelez International human resources function.

Mr. Jones began his career with Mondelez as a Financial Analyst in Madison, WI. He transitioned into human resources in 1995 and has since held a variety of human resources assignments in Wisconsin, South Carolina, California, and Illinois. Several of his previous leadership roles include HR Director, Oscar Mayer Division, HR Director, Cheese Division, and Director Staffing & Diversity Global Supply Chain. Prior to joining Mondelez International, Mr. Jones served six years as a US Army Officer. He reached the rank of Captain and is a Iraq War Veteran. 

Mr. Jones is a member of Prince Hall Masons, Shriners, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, National Black MBA Association, Society of Human Resources Management, and a Life Member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. He has served on several boards to include the YWCA Lake County, University of Illinois – Lake County Extension, March of Dimes Lake County IL, Oak Grove School Education Foundation, INROADS of Chicago, 100 Black Men of Madison WI, and YMCA of Madison WI. 

Mr. Jones is a native of Mississippi. He earned a BS in Finance from Jackson State University and an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. He is married and has two daughters.

Bobbie, COO

Bobbie Jones earned a BS degree in Finance from Jackson State University. With over 25 years in both public and private sectors, Bobbie has experience in management, consultation, team building, talent acquisition, professional development, strategic implementation, and company collaboration. She has provided professional consultation to non-profit organizations as well as Fortune 100 companies. 

Prior to establishing C&B HR Consulting LLC, Bobbie served as Quality Complaint Manager with Viasya NeuroCare in Madison, Wisconsin. She was responsible for managing medical device complaints, determining root cause analysis, and providing business solutions. 

Bobbie served as Marketing Analyst at American Family Insurance, headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin.  She was responsible for managing the agency marketing reports and processes. Additionally, she managed agency contracts, compensation for agent co-op offices, and the budget for the marketing staff. 

As Bobbie relocated to different states, she held several positions with significant responsibility to include Commercial Bank Officer in California and Senior Loan Supervisor in South Carolina. In addition, Bobbie volunteered her services and expertise as a recruiter for the non-profit organizations to include YWCA of Lake County and Girls Inc. of Greater Houston.  She is also an active member of Moms Demand Action (Sensible Gun Control in America).

She has served on several boards to include the YWCA Lake County, Illinois and Riverview Elementary School, California. 

Bobbie is a native of Mississippi, and currently lives in Illinois with her husband Charles.  They have two daughters, Tiffany and Eryka.
